We sponsor many events each year that include majors and nonmajors. Some of these events include:
- Latin American Film Festival
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
Hosted each fall.
Gaines Theatre, free and open to the public - International Slide Night
Each fall we host an evening of presentations by students who have studied abroad in the past year. - Latin Day
We collaborate with the Tidewater Classical Symposium to host more than 100 students from 14 local schools. - Departmental Honors Reception
We honor graduates each year during commencement week.
