Warehouse

Authorization

Before ordering items from the Warehouse Catalog, please make sure that your department has a current Authorization Form on file with the Warehouse. This form tells us who is authorized to requisition items.

  • Download and print an Authorization Form.
  • Fill out the form completely.
  • Send the original form with signatures to the Central Warehouse via campus mail.

Catalog

All items stocked by the Central Warehouse are listed with prices in the Warehouse Catalog.

How to Order (Requisition)

To order any merchandise that our warehouse stocks, a multi-copy Warehouse Requisition Form must be filled out completely. Should you need this form, please contact the warehouse. Do not use the sample form in the Warehouse Catalog.

When property is to be declared surplus by a department, a surplus form must be filled out, signed by the department head and faxed to the Warehouse. When the Warehouse has received the completed form, they will contact you to arrange for pickup. Only items listed on the surplus form will be picked up.

Mailroom

CNU's mail department picks up and delivers mail twice daily to all departments, at all locations. We are equipped to handle most types of mail (i.e. registered mail, certified mail, return receipt and delivery confirmation) with the exception of UPS and FedEx. However, we can expedite USPS overnight mail.

We also can assist you with your bulk mailing (mail that consists of at least 200 pieces). For bulk mailing, we ask that you arrange the mailing in zip code order, from lowest to highest, prior to submission to our mail carrier. We also have the capability of weighing most packages to pre-determine the cost of mailing. If you have questions, please contact us at (757) 594-7935.

Our mailroom does not stock stamps, envelopes, money orders or postcards. The David Student Union sells letter stamps. Any additional items should be purchased from the United States Post Office.

Our mailroom is located in Commonwealth Hall, Suite 31
