Intramural Sports

Intramural sports provide students the opportunity to participate in leagues and tournaments. We offer the following:
- Basketball
- Dodgeball
- Flag football
- Sand volleyball
- Soccer
- Softball
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Volleyball
Intramural sports are played between student teams, from 8–11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday. Indoor sports are played in the Freeman Center, either in the Auxiliary Gym or Field House. Outdoor sports are played at Jennings Family Stadium and on the James River courts. Students may sign up to play on one same-gender and one mixed-gender team in each sport, if offered.
We use IMLeagues to help coordinate the program. Our participation policies, sport rules, team sign ups, game schedules and playoff brackets may be found on the site. Users must create an account in order to create a team or join an existing team.
Students may sign up a team with the intention of competing for an intramural championship, or play for fun. The championship T-shirt is one of the most coveted items on campus, and are proudly worn by the winners.
