Outdoor Adventure and Recreation
Outdoor Adventure and Recreation strives to increase the interest and awareness of outdoors. Whether it be trips sponsored by CNU or providing a database of area places of interest. We provide at least one trip for students, faculty and staff each semester. Trip locations vary based on interest and experience of staff and participants. In the past we have gone to a tree top zip lining course in Williamsburg, skiing near Charlottesville, hiking on Old Rag Mountain, and white water rafting in West Virginia. We also partner with our sport clubs, specifically hiking, rock climbing, and ski and snowboard clubs to offer a trip with their guidance and expertise. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, check out our current clubs list. We may have an established club that you would like to join.
