Anchor Organizations - Christopher Newport University

Anchor Organizations

Anchor Organizations

Anchor organizations are specific groups on campus that have substantial relationships with the University due to how they represent the University or events they host that are integral to life on campus. They may be eligible for priority allocation of financial resources upon recommendation by the Student Government Association to the Vice President of Student Affairs/Dean of Students. This allocation of resources establishes a defined relationship with a University department or office that requires these organizations to operate as an arm of the institution and renders them subject to all state and university policies. We have 10 anchor organizations on campus.
