Are you WhosFirstAtCNU - the first in your family to complete a four-year degree?

To assist incoming first-generation students in making the transition to college, we have developed a number of resources to help you succeed here at Christopher Newport.

Earn WhosFirst Stuff

  • Complete a Captain Module = 10 points
  • Complete a Captain Activity = 10 points
  • Connect with a Peer Mentor = 25 points
  • Connect with a Campus Office = 25 points
  • Attend a First Gen event = 50 points

More opportunities to come! Pick up a point tracking form in the Center for Academic Success and earn a T-shirt, a CNU mug and other fun “stuff”!
