New Student FAQ

IT Services

IT Services is here to support campus technology needs such as assisting with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices or other related technologies; providing recommendations for computer purchases; and supporting enterprise applications, software issues, and CNU web properties. This page includes a few things you should know about technology at CNU.

Account Security

We have implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all university-related accounts as a security measure on all logins.

To use MFA, students will need to download and set up the authenticator app on a secondary mobile device such as a personal cell phone.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Single Sign-On

We are a single sign-on, or SSO, campus. While this makes accessing all the resources provided to you easy, this also means that choosing and protecting your password is even more important than ever.

Your password must follow these requirements:

  • Minimum 14 Characters
  • Contain letters, numbers, and a special character
  • Cannot be repeated
